Terms of Use
Effective date: 20 October 2026
Welcome to Natyamove.
Natyamove is a Bharatanatyam practice companion designed to help dancers structure and support their practice between classes, rehearsals and performances.
These Terms of Use govern your use of Natyamove.
By creating an account or using Natyamove, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Natyamove
Natyamove is currently operated by Sangeetha Bala in Switzerland.
Contact:
Natyamove currently provides its V1 service free of charge. Paid subscriptions and payment functionality are not currently offered under these Terms.
2. Eligibility
Natyamove is intended for users aged 13 and over.
Natyamove does not currently collect or verify your age.
If you are below the age at which you can independently agree to these Terms or consent to relevant data processing in your country, you should involve your parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
Natyamove is not intended for children under 13.
3. A practice companion — not a replacement for your guru
Natyamove is designed to support your own Bharatanatyam practice. It is not a substitute for your guru or a qualified dance teacher.
Bharatanatyam terminology, Adavu names, sollukattu, rhythmic phrasing, technique and interpretation can vary between banis, schools and gurus.
Content within Natyamove is provided as a practice and reference aid.
Where Natyamove differs from what your guru has taught you, you should follow your guru’s guidance.
4. Practice and physical activity
Dance practice involves physical activity.
Natyamove provides general practice and movement guidance and does not provide medical, physiotherapy or healthcare advice.
You are responsible for deciding whether a particular practice session or activity is appropriate for you on a given day.
Practice within your own abilities. You may pause, shorten, skip or stop a Natyamove practice at any time.
Stop practising if you experience pain, dizziness or unusual discomfort. If you have an injury, medical condition or other health concern affecting your ability to practise safely, seek appropriate professional advice.
Before practising, ensure that you have a safe and suitable practice space, with adequate room to move and without obstacles or other hazards.
5. Your account
Natyamove accounts are intended for individual use.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for activity carried out through your account.
Please notify Natyamove at natyamove@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
6. Your content and uploaded music
You may be able to add personal notes, repertoire information, performance information and your own repertoire music or audio to Natyamove.
You retain ownership of content that belongs to you.
By uploading or entering content into Natyamove, you give Natyamove the limited permission necessary to store, process, display or play that content solely as needed to operate and provide the service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights or permission necessary to upload and use any music, audio or other content you provide.
Natyamove does not acquire ownership of your uploaded music merely because you use it within the service.
Copyright or other intellectual-property concerns may be reported to natyamove@gmail.com. Natyamove may remove content where reasonably necessary in response to a valid rights complaint or legal requirement.
7. Natyamove intellectual property
The Natyamove name and brand, interface, original written guidance, curated practice structures, original audio cues, illustrations, software and other original Natyamove content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Using Natyamove does not transfer ownership of that material to you.
You may use Natyamove for your personal practice in accordance with these Terms.
You may not reproduce, commercially exploit, resell or systematically extract Natyamove’s original content or use it to replicate a competing service without permission, except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise.
Natyamove does not claim ownership of the Bharatanatyam tradition itself, including traditional Bharatanatyam terminology, Adavus, sollukattu or other traditional elements merely because they appear within Natyamove.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:

Features may be updated, improved, changed or discontinued as the product develops.
We make reasonable efforts to keep Natyamove available and to protect user information, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Suspension or termination
Natyamove may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:
- serious or repeated violations of these Terms;
- misuse of the service;
- security risks;
- unlawful activity; or
- legal or regulatory requirements.
Where appropriate, reasonable notice will be provided. Immediate action may sometimes be necessary for security or legal reasons.
You may stop using Natyamove at any time and may permanently delete your account using the account-deletion functionality.
11. Responsibility for your practice
Natyamove can suggest and structure practice, but you remain responsible for deciding how and whether to perform an activity.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Natyamove is not responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from a user’s decision to perform an activity, failure to practise safely, unsuitable practice surroundings, or disregard of their own physical limitations or appropriate professional advice.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
12. No medical or professional advice
Information provided through Natyamove is for dance-practice and general informational purposes.
It should not be treated as medical, physiotherapy or other healthcare advice or used as a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

Natyamove may update these Terms as the service evolves or legal requirements change.
The effective date will be updated when changes are made. Where changes are material, appropriate notice will be provided as required by applicable law.
Future features such as paid subscriptions may require additional or updated terms before those features become available.
